Chris was the cofounder of Cytori Therapeutics and served as CEO from 1996 to 2014. He has filed 96 medical patent applications and has delivered more than 100 presentations at financial, technology, and regional medical After completing his medical degree at the University of Sydney he also completed a Master\u2019s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a PhD in molecular Endocrinology, after which he became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He practices a pre-emptive strategy to mitigate the prevailing escalation of prescription drugs for chronic disease such as diabetes. He is a dynamic leader with over 20 years proven track record in pre-clinical and clinical development from concept to product launch. Immuno-pharmacologist with expertise in <em>in-vitro<\/em> and <em>in-vivo<\/em> studies in animal models of inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. Nick has led numerous classes of patented discoveries in infectious disease and autoimmune fields.<\/p><p>\u00a0Throughout his career Nick has received numerous government and institutional awards. He is a clinical senior lecturer at the School of Paediatrics and Reproductive Health, University of Adelaide and at the Department of Medicine, University of Sydney. He has trained a number of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and examined a number of PhD and Master\u2019s degree thesis and peer-reviewed manuscripts for world-leading scientific journals.<\/p><p>Nick has over 13 years of corporate building and management experience.
